Liam Gallagher appeared in a special comedy sketch with Stephen Fry as part of Comic Relief last night (Friday 13 March, 2015).
After Beady Eye split last year, this forray into comedy is the former Oasis' first major TV ppearance. In the sketch, Fry, Miranda Hart and Sheridan Smith are a panel tasked with the finding Britain's next national treasure. Before them, come the likes of Robbie Williams, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (that's Cheryl Cole's new name) and model David Gandy.
Cue Liam Gallagher - entering with trademark Manc swagger, beer in hand - before Fry's head falls into his hands in despair. His assessment? A sketch of a penis by his name. It's comedy like that which has helped Comic Relief raise £78million this year.
