Muse have discussed their experience meeting Kanye West at one of their shows, saying, "All he wanted to talk about was t-shirts."
Yesterday, the band were announced as headliners of Radio One's Big Weekend, joining fellow headliners Foo Fighters, as well as Florence + The Machine, Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Hozier, The Vaccines and Years & Years.
This morning the band were guests on Nick Grimshaw's Radio One Breakfast Show to discuss their excitement for the festival - where they also revealed that they'd met Kanye West at one of their shows.
As NME reports, frontman Matt Bellamy described how West came backstage at a US gig a few years back. "He was checking out our t-shirts," he said, "All he wanted to talk about was t-shirts."
Bellamy admitted that it was this incident that led to him naming his cats Kim and Kanye in 2013, despite not being particularly au fait with West's music.
