Mark Ronson, Primal Scream and Rita Ora will be all honoured by music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins at the O2 Silver Clef 2015 Awards.

On the year the ceremony celebrates its 40th Anniversary, three new O2 Silver Clef Awards winners have been announced: Rita Ora, Mark Ronson and Primal Scream. All artists will collect their awards at the O2 Silver Clef Lunch held on 3 July at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane.

It's the lastest gong for Ronson, whose 'Uptown Funk' still seems to be absolutely inescapable.

“I feel proud to be awarded the American Express Innovation Award," said Ronson. "The O2 Silver Clef Awards is an event I’ve long admired, raising funds for Nordoff Robbins music therapy, a cause which I feel passionate about.”

It's particularly gratifying to see Primal Scream also recognised for their huge contribution to music. In a statement  the band say: “It’s a real honour to be awarded the Investec Icon Award at the 40th anniversary of the O2 Silver Clef Awards. We are looking forward to the event on 3rd July.”

Other honourees on the night include the mighty Iron Maiden and Rita Ora, who will collect an award as 'Best Female'.

Since launching in 1976 the O2 Silver Clef Awards have raised more than £8.5 million to fund Nordoff Robbins’ music therapy work. Previous winners have included David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, Kylie Minogue and Pharrell Williams.

Both Mark Ronson and Primal Scream have a hectic festival season ahead of them. Ronson is set to play Lovebox, Glastonbury, Parklife and Festival No. 6. Primal Scream are playing Gentlemen Of The Road, Y Not and Victorious.
