Glastonbury's legendary Shangri-La area have announced their theme for 2015 - it will be called 'Politics, Sholitics' and will host 'Shang Re-election' after the general one this May.

A bizarre but brilliant circus meets carnival wonderland of curiosities, Shangri-La is perfect for some after hours insanity and antics - especially as it's open from 6pm-5am from Thursday through Sunday of the June event at Worthy farm.

This year, the madness will be getting a little more political than usual.

"This year's story aims to help people connect with the political process and demonstrate that politics can be for them and by them," say Shangri-La in a statement. "After the flinchingly realistic horrors of last years Corporate Hell, this year Shangri-Hell has been occupied. Every office has been taken over by some of the 99% desperate for change. Each Nano-venue has become a political party, and everyone here has a point to make."

They added: "There is nothing too silly or too serious to be said, there is only the process of activism, the skies filled with banners, the streets packed with protesters and placards."

Over 70 acts have been announced for Glastonbury so far, with Foo Fighters and Kanye West headlining alongside performances from Florence + The Machine, Patti Smith, Wolf Alice, Pharrell Williams and many, many more.

The third and final headliner is yet to be announced, however organiser Michael Eavis has revealed that the next big Glasto announcement will be on 1 June - and will involve 'two British artists.

Daughter and co-organiser Emily Eavis then clarified speculation around her father's comments, adding "any truth to the rumours of a Sunday night charity super group arranged by Chris Martin". She tweeted back "ah, don't get confused by the two bands together story! We are announcing one band as headliner but a great penultimate too.."

Glastonbury 2015 takes place at Worthy Farm from 24 - 28 June. Other rumoured headliners including Coldplay, Stone Roses, Fleetwood Mac, Blur, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Queen and more.
