The Black Keys' new single 'Fever' has received an 8-bit remix and to be honest it rocks really really hard. Listen below.
As the band's eagerly-awaited return, 'Fever' was always going to divide opinion to an extent, some found it slightly derivative, others embraced the psychadelic riffing and organ sounds. Regardless of which side of the fence you land on however, you're going to dig this remix from 8-Bit Universe that whittles the track down to its component parts and creating something that sounds like is lifted straight from a NES game.

The Black Keys have recently self-confirmed their own appearance at this year's Glastonbury festival. The band, who are already confirmed as headliners at this year's Latitude Festival, let the secret slip as they revealed new single 'Fever', from new studio album, Turn Blue. the band will perform on Sunday, 29 June 2014, the final night of this year's Glasto.
