Blink-182 headlined the first day of Leeds festival last night (22 August) and, according to the band themselves, they did "a great fucking job."
If you were hoping for a greater depth or maturity from the band's set as the members reach their 40th birthdays, you're in for some bad news.
Opening with 2003 track 'Feeling This', they drew a respectable crowd to their set, and second track of the night, 'What's My Age Again', geared fans up considerably.
It didn't take long for bassist Mark Hoppus to tell the crowd, "You guys are awesome. I'm sure Reading will be bullshit compared to you guys. Reading can suck your collective cock and buttholes." We did warn you their maturity had not improved.
The band also told fans, "We figured out on this tour what sex is. It's when two people come together to make the man climax." We're going to stop quoting them now because it's killing our brain cells.
Blink-182 will deliver a no-doubt equally sweary, burp-filled set at Reading on Sunday (24 August).
