As the spat between Morrissey and his (former?) record label continues, Morrissey's new album, World Peace Is None Of Your Business, has been removed from digital music sites.
Disagreements (to put it mildly) between Morrissey and Harvest Records were first publicly revealed when Morrissey announced last week that he had been dropped. However, the label released their own statement insisting that they have not dropped him, and in fact, he owes them another album.
In response to that, Morrissey said that he had email evidence that his label had in fact fired him, and reiterated that he was looking for new management.

Morrissey then released another statement explaining that the disagreements stem from issues between himself and label boss Steve Barnett, saying "All you need to do is disagree with the vanity of the label boss and your beheading will be slotted in between bottles of the most average champagne on the market.
"Just one weak-chinned drone can assert the fist of injustice and all of our efforts are flushed away. And thus ... they were." Nothing's ever simple with Moz.
Now it seems the dispute has escalated further, as Morrissey's new album, World Peace Is None Of Your Business, has been removed from US iTunes and Spotify.
We will be keeping a keen eye on Morrissey's wonderfully dated official fan site, and await a six hundredth statement from him on this matter.
