Kasbian have opened up about their headline slot at Glastonbury saying that their ambition to perform was so high that they felt 'relief' when the phone call finally came.
Speaking to the NME guitarist Serge Pizzorno discussed the slot, saying that it the band had been locked in a studio practising their Glasto set. He also vocalizes how happy the are to be offered the oppurtunity and that the band had had many amazing nights at Britain's premiere festival.
"The day I got the phone call I was relieved, I felt relieved because I've always wanted to do it. From the first rehearsal, day one of rehearsal, I'll never forget it, we kicked into a tune, it drops down and Tom sort of went: "Glastonbury!". Like did a full on shout out in the rehearsal rooms day one."

"It's always been like… we just need to do that and I can die a happy man. I feel like it's a huge boxed ticked. We've had so many amazing nights there," he continued.
"Ultimately you just want people to have a great night. I want people to go away thinking, 'I enjoyed that, that was massive.'"
