They then took to Facebook to post the following message:
"All good things
"From Fuji Rocks Festival to Glastonbury, Elgin to Tokyo, Manchester to Stockholm, Dublin to L.A, toilet tours to supports with Paul Weller, Oasis, Ian Brown, Happy Mondays, Kasabian, The View, Deep Purple, Buzzcocks, The Enemy to name a few, four drummers to four bass players, four different management companies, three agencies, God knows how many crew members, endless motorway miles and journeys to times of virtually nothing going on to non stop tours and hours in the studio, friendships ending to new friends made and so on I am as healthy as ever and still raring to make music.
"It has been a true honour to have fronted such a great rock n roll band and play some of the most mental shows of the last ten years. After going to gigs since the age of ten I have actually been on stage at the craziest ones. I cannot thank you fans enough for making the adventure so much fun. I wouldn't change a single minute of it for the world, but now its time to move on. I will continue to make music and it won't be long before I will be back gigging with new songs to play. Hope people can understand and note that all good things must come to an end. As twisted as it was its been a life changing experience and one hell of a ride and you were all part of it. Hopefully will see you soon when Im back with my next invention. Watch this space!!!
"Thanks again. Much love
