And we're off. The 2014 festival season has begun, with Live At Leeds and Liverpool Sound City already done, dusted and both hailed as huge successes. Next up, Brighton plays host to The Great Escape Festival this weekend (8-10 May, 2014), with an incredible selection of bands heading to the coastal town for three days of new music and seaside fun.
The line-up for the 2014 edition of The Great Escape is a truly brilliant one, and is reflective of both the strength of the festival and the state of new music this year. From dance to indie, pop to rock, every genre is represented by fresh new artists - while the likes of Kelis, Jon Hopkins, The Kaiser Chiefs and more will also perform to show the newer bands where they can be in a few years time, with a bit of hard work...
