11 things to expect from Muse's upcoming seventh album
Everything we know about their next step
An summer 2015 release date: Back in April, drummer Dom Howard said the band would be starting their seventh album in May. But when will the album drop? Well, speaking to Tripe J last year, frontman Matt Bellamy said: "I've written some good tracks, actually. We haven't had a chance to rehearse them out yet. We'll take a break next year for a little few months and then we'll get in the studio. If it all goes very well, the new album could well be early 2015 or late 2015. Christmas 2014 might be [when we release] our next single" - however Bellamy has now tweeted that it should be out by 'next summer'

Oh Muse, how you tease us. They hinted at a 20th anniversary tour, then rocked the face off Coachella, then went into hiding. However, all is not lost - with frontman Matt Bellamy revealing that progress is in fact being made on their next record and 'it's going to get heavy'. But, what can we expect from Muse's seventh LP?
The journey of Muse has been long and insane. From three nervous childhood friends playing grunge covers in Westcountry pubs, to true supermassive rock icons selling out stadiums and headlining Glastonbury. Their sound and charisma has evolved every step of the way, and the band are more than aware of where they stand in 2014.
