Lawsuit claims Morrissey wanted to 'hurt' webmaster

A new lawsuit is claiming Morrissey had planned to “hurt” the webmaster of a fan site dedicated to him.

Filed by an ex-bodyguard of the singer, a report on TMZ claims that after threatening legal action against ‘Morrissey-solo.com' for many years due to critical posts, Morrissey himself had finally had enough and conspired to injure site operator, David Tseng.

The lawsuit states that Morrissey and his tour manager asked if Tseng "could be gotten rid off”, and if his home address could be sourced.

The Bodyguard filing the lawsuit was supposedly fired for refusing to participate in the scheme.

Morrissey’s distain for this particular site stems back over the years, with the singer regularly criticising their posts on his own ‘true to you’ forum. Morrissey himself is yet to comment on the lawsuit.

Morrissey’s latest album ‘World Peace Is None of Your Business’ is out now.
