Miley Cyrus has shared her cover of Led Zeppelin’s classic “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” on SoundCloud. Listen to it below.
The ‘Wrecking Ball’ superstar tweeted a link to the track instructing fans to: “Check dis shit out.” The original song, which appeared on Led Zeppelin’s debut album, was written by folk singer Anne Bredon.
Cyrus’ version does not stray too far from the original. Despite tweaking the title to “Baby I’m Gonna Leave You”, the chart-topping singer does her best imitation of Robert Plant, imitating every howl of the original.

This is not Miley's first rock cover. She has been playing Arctic Monkeys’ ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High’ as part of her tour setlist and has recently revealed plans to cover Leonard Cohen’s ‘I’m Your Man’. Her cover of ‘Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds’ will appear on With a Little Help From My Fwends, the Flaming Lips’ tribute to the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, which is due for release on 28 October.
