This guy really doesn't like Kroeger

One man, really really doesn't like Nickelback. Inspired by the recent run of successful Kickstarter music campaigns, a man has started his own to ban Nickelback from playing in London for the foreseeable future.
Craig Mandell is hoping to raise ($1000) £626 to ban the divisive band from playing in the city, calling the project 'Don't let Nickel-back'.
According to the Kickstarter page, which has currently received $6 of funding, Mandell plans on adding backers' names to a strongly worded email to be sent to the band's management, with the severity of the message dependent on how many people fund the project.
The campaign's description reads: "We are attempting to ensure that Canadian "rockers" Nickelback do not come to London, England to play a gig. With your help, we can ensure that the band do not schedule any gigs here, do not attempt to come here - nor even phone here."
"Just imagine, thousands - perhaps tens of thousands of music lovers - all not witnessing an exclusive concert by Nickelback in London."

The crowd-funding site seems to be hugely popular at the moment, with a recent campaign urging Foo Fighters to play a show in Cornwall hit a £150,000 target in just two days, with a similar campaign for a Birmingham show also hitting target remarkably quickly.
The 'Don't let Nickel-back' campaign ends on 3 November.
