Despite Alice Glass leaving the band yesterday and declaring it over, Crystal Castles' manager has hinted that this might not be the end.

The electro punk stars, famed for their chaotic live shows, formed in 2004 and released three albums. Yesterday, singer Glass announced that she is departing to focus on her solo career.

"I am leaving Crystal Castles," she said on Facebook. "My art and my self-expression in any form has always been an attempt towards sincerity, honesty, and empathy for others. For a multitude of reasons both professional and personal I no longer feel that this is possible within CC.

"Although this is the end of the band, I hope my fans will embrace me as a solo artist in the same way they have embraced Crystal Castles."

In a new interview with NME though, the duo's manager said: "There will be twists and turns for Crystal Castles, I wouldnt bury the dead just yet!"

Crystal Castles reached the top 40 in the UK singles chart in 2010 with their single, 'Not In Love', which was a Platinum Blonde cover and featured lead vocals from The Cure's Robert Smith.
