Sam Smith has made a bit of a blunder on Twitter and caused a bit of a stir among fans - telling them he was not well enough to meet them, before later announcing he had the 'best night ever' at a karaoke bar. If you're going to pull a sickie, keep it to yourself.
The 'Stay With Me' chart-topper is currently enjoying a whirlwind of Stateside success on his US tour. However, on his US tour, it seemed that the In The Lonely Hour singer was feeling a little under the weather, so much so that he couldn't meet fans:

But he appeared to recover quickly enough to have the 'best.night.ever' at a karaoke bar:
