There's something about the range sounds in this single that reminds you of an abundance of influences when they all bombard you in a matter if seconds. Jeremy Warmsley mixes everything from spikes of electronica to folk style strings and Bolan/Bowie-esque vocals and with sounds of Graham Coxon and Robyn Hitchcock thrown in there too. ‘Dirty Blue Jeans’ is a like letting off a box of fireworks in your bedroom and watching as the colours ricochet off of the walls. If nothing else, this single is worth a listen to just for the hell of it and who knows, you may end up loving it after all.
