The Milk have revealed the video for 'No Interruptions' - the first single from their forthcoming second album. Watch it first on Gigwise below.
With their new music inspired by re-discovering the likes of Bill Withers, Isaac Hayes and the Isley Brothers, a more contemporary yardstick for The Milk's latest offering would be somewhere between the latest incarnation of Arctic Monkeys and a soulful Paolo Nutini.
The video for 'No Interruptions' sees a beaten up man, with cut knuckles and a look of deep regret, step out of his house and begin to walk down the street. When he narrowly avoids being spotted by a passing police car, he begins to run, his emotions finally coming to the fore when he stops in the middle of a forest.
Speaking of their interpretation of the song, the video's directors, Rick Burnell and Jo Wheatley, said: "When we heard 'No Interruptions' for the first time, the emotion behind the song was so evident. We could imagine it playing over a scene in a film where a character was experiencing a harrowing situation."
