SBTRKT has announced details of his new album Wonder Where We Land as well as an accompanying UK tour and brilliant new single. Listen to 'NEW DORP, NEW YORK' below.
The acclaimed London-based producer's album follows his delf-titled debut - which received rave review across the board - and 6 tracks that were spread over 3 EP's. Wonder Where We Land will be released on 22 September.
The album features some intriguing collabrations with some top artists. Welsh electronic producer Koreless, and neo-soul singer Jessie Ware are among the most enticing.
The first single to drop is "NEW DORP. NEW YORK. feat Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend)". It's a dark experimental composition with rib-rattling bass tones mixed with clattering samples. The sound conjures up images of a restless New York City at night which which fits with the vocal narrative.
