Lo-fi rock band Then Thickens have premiered their brand new, incredibly literal, 'Worms' video exclusively on Gigwise. Watch it below.
The band includes members of KONG and others, but they favour a more mellow sound for this incarnation. As their Facebook page puts it, the band marry together "60's production, 70's melody and 90's lyrics" to create a 21st century sound. Try not to feel left out, 80's, you gave it your best shot.
The video is probably not best watched as an accompaniment to your lunch or dinner break - it is a bed of worms writhing around in a hypnotic, but not entirely pleasant, way.

Having already supported the likes of Echo & The Bunnymen and Biffy Clyro, the latter of whom praised the band's "dirgey pop music", Then Thickens are planning further tour dates and festival appearances in the coming months. So keep your ear to the worm-filled ground.
'Worms' is released today, 4 August, via Hatch Records.
