Punk rock may not be the first thing you think of upon hearing the name Ryan Adams, however 1984 might just change that. Check out his stream of the album below

We shouldn't be too surprised, his release for record store day 2013 was a hint towards his inner punk, before he worked on a Fallout Boy EP a few months later. The album was only made available on a 7-inch vinyl which sold out, it is available to stream online however and can be heard below.

It is a short but sweet collection, ten tracks finishing within half an hour, Adams unleashes his vocals across fast paced, guitar driven rhythms very satisfactorily.

Meanwhile, Ryan Adams is gearing up to release his more traditional new self-titled album on 8 September, 2014 - before kicking off a full UK tour. For tickets and more information, visit here
