The nominees for this year's Mercury Music Prize are set to be revealed next week at a ceremony in London.
Following James Blake's win last year, this year's lucky hopefuls for the most coveted and respected prize in UK music will be announced at London's Hospital Club at 5.30pm on Wednesday 10 September by Alice Levine.
The shortlist will comprise of the judges' top 12 UK albums released in the last 12 months since 10 September 2013.
Televised coverage of the event will be broadcast on Channel 4 at 12.05am on the night of Thursday 11 September, but Gigwise will be there to bring you the latest news, interviews and more.
The winner will then be decided and announced at the Barclaycard Mercury Prize Awards Show at the Roundhouse on Wednesday 29 October.

Favourites tipped to be nominated include FKA Twigs, Damon Albarn, Sam Smith and Royal Blood.
