The Weeknd has unveiled a new track, set to appear on the soundtrack to the forthcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film. Listen to 'Earn it' below.
Downbeat and naturally cinematic, 'Earn It' once again plays to Abel Tesfaye's emotional strengths and sultry delivery, with impactful strings and subtle piano lines giving his usually sparse material a surprisingly grander edge.
The Weeknd seemed like a natural choice for The Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, considering the seductive groundings of his music and the film's sexually charged narrative.

The track is available to buy now on iTunes, whilst Fifty Shades of Grey is released in cinemas on Valentines Day 2015.
