This video for the latest Gang of Four song was filmed in an old mental health institution in Uxbridge and features The Kills' Alison Mossart. Watch the video below.
Gang of Four founding member, producer and guitarist Andy Gill said of the track, "It's desolate and yet somehow defiant - not a nostalgia-tinged view of Englishness but something closer to the messy reality."
The video accompanying the angular and angsty track sees the band playing in an empty and disused room, with Mosshart stumbling about them in dingy lighting. This is cut with footage of Mosshart in various parts of the building and flashes of other figures on the grounds.
