Fresh from opening the iTunes festival in London, Deadmau5 has been threatened with legal action regarding his distinctive rodent headgear.
As reported on Inthemix, upon arrival back in Toronto the DJ (real name Joel Zimmerman) tweeted about receiving letters from Disney. Naturally Zimmerman took this in his stride and started accusing Disney of both crushing dreams and trying to make a quick buck.

This week TMZ revealed that Disney have filed a legal claim to block Deadmau5 trademarking his mau5 head logo in the US, having already secured it in Japan, Germany, Italy and the UK.
The House Of Mouse have previously expressed concern about Deadmau5 logo. The producer himself admitted as much - as he told Rolling Stone in his first cover story, “Someone at the Disney patent office fell asleep on that one."
