As the news of the death of maverick comedian Joan Rivers filtered through yesterday, musicians quickly took to Twitter to express their condolences.
Artists ranging from Katy Perry, Duran Duran to The Roots' Questlove, were part of a huge twitter reaction paying tribute to the 81 year-old, who died after going into cardiac arrest following a medical proceedure.
