Lorde has given fans a tiny preview of new music by posting handwritten lyrics of an unheard song on Instagram.
On Friday, the singer tweeted, "Hm... When should I start giving you some clues about his new song.."
She obviously decided that today was the time to do so - this morning she posted a photo of one line of handwritten lyrics with the caption, "First line." The lyrics themselves read, "I'm a princess cut from marble, smoother than a storm."
It's currently unclear whether the lyric is taken from Lorde's forthcoming contribution to the Hunger Games soundtrack (which she is also curating) or from her second album.
The 17-year-old released released her debut album, Pure Heroine, last year to critical acclaim.
