After Dave Grohl fell off stage and broke his leg last week, a website has been set up asking fans to sign a virtual cast, many of which will be printed onto an actual cast to be presented to Grohl.

The Foo Fighters frontman ended a gig in Sweden in dramatic fashion on Friday (12 June) when he fell a great height from the stage during 'Monkey Wrench'. He is said to have fell between a gap between a ramp and the audience, tumbling to the ground.

"I think I just broke my leg," said Grohl as he lay on the ground. "I'm going to go to hospital. I'm going to fix my leg. And then I'm going to come back. You have my promise right now that the Foo Fighters - we're going to come back and finish the show."

While medics tended to Grohl backstage, the rest of the band played on with covers sung by drummer Taylor Hawkins, before Grohl came back with his leg in a cast to perform 'All My Life'.

Unfortunately, his stoicism had to be short-lived, as the band subsequently cancelled all their European tour dates, including a headline slot at Glastonbury.

Now the creative agency EVB has teamed up with web developers Bauscode to create a website where Foo fans can sign Grohl's cast simply by using the hashtag "#SignDavesCast". As many of these 'signatures' as possible will then be printed onto an actual cast sleeve, which will be sent to Grohl.

If you want to sign Grohl's cast, and be in with a chance of having it included on the real thing, tweet your message alongside #SignDaves Cast. For more info, visit the website here.
