The skies of London were lit up once again for New Year's Eve, ringing in 2016 along the banks of the Thames with music from David Bowie, The Weeknd, Bastille, One Direction and more. Check it out below.

The skyline of Big Ben, the London Eye and Houses of Parliament was silhouetted by a firework extravaganza - soundtracked by the likes of James Bay, Lenny Kravitz, Apollo 440 and many more in the lengthy end of year mix. 

Over 100,000 people watched the display, reports the BBC. Meanwhile, Bryan Adams performed a special New Year's Eve gig in London for a select audience at Big Ben - which you can watch here and here.
