Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart cover Taylor Swift songs on NPR's 'Ask Me Another' show.
The pair took on the popstar's hits in their trademark voices giving the songs a much darker and theatrical feel. Afterwards, Patrick Stewart took to Twitter to ask Swift: "May we join the squad?" to which Swift replied: "Thanks for reciting my lyrics, @IanMcKellen and @SirPatStew! You've made my day. You two are ULTIMATE Squad Goals".
McKellen took on 'Bad Blood' whilst Stewart took on 'Blank Space'.

Taylor Swift has been inviting a number of covers and collaborators in recent weeks, most recently Lorde joined her on stage at her gig in Washington on Tuesday (14 July) to cover her number 1 mass-selling single 'Royals'.
Elsewhere, Swift seems to be at the height of her powers after a protest letter to Apple's new streaming service which prompted them to turn around their plans to leave artists unpaid for the first three months free trial period. In an open letter explaining why she planned to hold back her album, 1989, from their new streaming service. In it, she wrote, "I find it to be shocking, disappointing, and completely unlike this historically progressive and generous company."
