Brian Eno has spoken out in support of Labour leadership candidate Jeremy Corbyn at a London rally held on Monday (3 August).
Corbyn has been the MP for Islington North since 1983, and is topping the Labour Party opinion polls at the moment ahead of rivals Yvette Cooper, Liz Kendall and Andy Burnham.
Eno gave a speech at the Camden Centre in North London, during which he declared Corbyn his preferred candidate. Eno addressed the criticism that Corbyn isn't popular enough to win an election, saying: "I don't think electability really is the most important thing. What's important is that someone changes the conversation and moves us off this small-minded agenda".
2,500 people attended the rally on Monday. Watch a clip of Eno's speech below.

This isn't the only musical interference in this Labour race - Corbyn's rival, Andy Burnham, recently took to Twitter to quote The Courteeners' 'Take Over The World'.
While speaking to MEN, Liam Fray said he'd be excited to have Burnham win the Labour election. "Imagine having a fan of The Stone Roses, The Smiths and Courtneers running the place!"
