Warpaint’s Jenny Lee Lindberg has announced two UK shows this December, just before her debut solo album Right On is released. Dates and ticket details are below.
A trailer for the album released last month teased eager fans with a few intriguing snippets from the record, the 60 second clip boasting rapid and lush cuts reminiscent of Warpaint, as well as a more sedated and dreamlike track soaked in Jenny Lee’s soothing vocals.
The video was filmed by Mia Kirby and Sierra and contains clips from tracks 'Never', 'Boom Boom' and 'He Fresh'. We can't wait to hear more.
But to get you a little more excited, she'll be playing Manchester's Band On The Wall on Tuesday 8 December, and London's Corsica Studios on Thursday 10 December. Tickets are on sale at 9am on 23 October. For tickets and information, visit here.
Right on Will be released through Rough Trade on 11 December.
Corsica studios is a pretty tiny and intimate venue, so be sure to mark the date in your calendar if you stand any chance of getting in. We visited Corsica studios a couple of months back for New York trio Ratking’s show, being flung around like rag-dolls in a venue that had everybody crammed in like sardines.
