Coldplay announce huge world tour - tickets

It's difficult to imagine Coldplay creating any more frenzied hype than they managed a few weeks ago with the release of a new song and details of their new album, but they've managed it. They've just announced a tour that includes two dates at Wembley Stadium and one at Manchester's Etihad Stadium. You'll be able to witness their new material, and old classics such as 'Fix You', 'Yellow and 'Paradise'. Get tickets and more information below.

The band continued the guerilla-style advertising campaign they've opted for over the past few weeks, by revealing the news via a series of posters in the street.

Coldplay will perform two nights at Wembley Stadium, on 16 and 18 June, as well as one night at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on 4 June. They'll also be playing Glasgow's Hampden Park on 7 June. If you can't wait that long - they'll be playing a much more intimate date on 3 December at St John's Hackney Church.

The band have also announced a whole host of European dates throughout April, May, June and July.
