Not only did the 'Skyfall' and 'Rolling In The Deep' star go viral with an epic impersonation sketch on her BBC special, but she delivered an amazing SNL performance and her new album 25 is set to break the record for most albums sold in a week.
The Official Charts Company reports that 25 sold over 300,000 copies in just 24 hours - meaning that's pretty likely to topple previous record-holders for first week sales – after Take That’s Progress sold 518,601 in its debut week and Oasis’s Be Here Now shifted a huge 695,761. And to think, she's done all of that without allowing her album to be streamed.
Expect sale to sky-rocket in the coming days. Thousands tuned in to her BBC special on Friday night, before a sketch of her appearing among Adele impersonators went viral:
