U2 frontman Bono has spoken out for Eagles Of Death Metal as their tour returns to Paris, praising them for being so 'graceful' in the wake of their 'ugly nightmare' when ISIS terrorists struck their gig at The Bataclan.

Terrorists struck the Zipper Down stars' show at The Bataclan on Friday 13 November, killing 89 people as part of a spate of attacks across the city. U2 were among the bands to cancel shows in the wake of the atrocities, but then rescheduled for next week. Full dates and ticket details are below.

Eagles Of Death Metal have since given a very open, frank and heartbreaking interview about the impact of the attacks

"We're very, very of course moved by the fact that our fellow troubadours, the Eagles of Death Metal, had such a hard time -  they're an extraordinary talented band, they've been through the most ugly nightmare and they have been very graceful about it," Bono told Associated Press.

Speaking of what French fans can expect from the gigs, Bono added: "Well, knowing our French audience and having a sense of them by now, I would say joy as an act of defiance. That's what U2 does, that's what French people want from us and that's it. They took a lot of lives we're not going to get back, but they're not going to change the character of the city of Paris."

Meanwhile, inspired by Duran Duran's generosity in donating funds from their cover of 'Save A Prayer', Eagles Of Death Metal are urging all artists to cover their track 'I Love You All The Time' in order to raise money for the victims of the Paris terror attacks

U2 will play the Accorhotels Arena in Paris on 6 and 7 December. For tickets and information, visit here
