Liam Gallagher solo music and Oasis reunion tour rumours - fans react Photo: WENN

Liam Gallagher has fuelled rumours of a return to music by posting a series of mysterious tweets. The singer wrote online, "Lots of exciting things happening time to get back in ring give us a call ROVER".

We have no clue what 'ROVER' means but getting back in the ring, sounds like a sure-fire indicator that the former Oasis frontman is planning to return to the music business.

Noel Gallagher recently said the only chance of an Oasis reunion would be if someone forked out a frankly ridiculous amount of money for it.

Rightly so, fans have been clamouring to hear any more specifics on what returning to the ring could actually mean. From Beady Eye, to some solo music, or the incredibly small hope of an Oasis reunion there are a number of exciting possible returns.

Liam formed the iconic rock band Oasis with brother Noel in 1991, before they disbanded in 2009. And, the notioursly mercurial singer has been quiet on the music front since his Beady Eye split in 2014.

Here's the original tweet, and some of the most entertaining reactions as fans try to piece together it all:

The singer has begun posting pretty bizarre videos following the shocking tweet:

There is also a new Oasis documentary on the way, from the team behind 'Amy' - which Liam had some very interesting thoughts about.

If it doesn't quite work out the way we hope, at least they've got some good advice for us already:
