For some unknown reason, Thom Yorke didn’t expect Radiohead’s new album, A Moon Shaped Pool, to do very well.

The band released their hugely anticipated ninth album, A Moon Shaped Pool, last month. It was their first new album in five years, following 2011’s The King Of Limbs, and is currently at No.1 for the second time.

Speaking to Q, Yorke said, “‘We expected the opposite reaction. I cherish the band, but I don’t expect anyone else to.” He also revealed that ‘Daydreaming’ is his favourite song from the new album, “when we do it right.”
