Will Joseph Cook today released his latest single, 'Sweet Dreamer'. Tunbridge Wells' answer to Orlando Weeks of The Maccabees is back at it again with his feel-good brand of indie pop and a video that sees him demonstrate his comedic talents as well as musical.

"It's about wanting to get back the optimist," Will told Gigwise. "Sweet dreamer [is] the more positive side of my personality. The lyric 'Show me what we’re working for' captures it well; its easy to lose sight of why you started doing something, so this track is like the antidote of that for me"

Accompanied by a video that sees Will channel hopping between wildlife shows, chat shows, kids shows, and what looks like a nod towards Top of the Pops, not only is he the one in control of the remote, he's also the star of every show. A big fan of creating visuals - something he discussed with us at Reading Festival a few weeks ago - this is yet another funny video to add to his growing catalogue.

"I’m always trying to make music that's uplifting and songs that deliver a release, so the feel of 'Sweet Dreamer' is definitely continuing that theme," he added. "Musically the track is more riff led than the last two singles. It was nice to leave more space for the vocal to really lead the track."

'Sweet Dreamer' is out now and can be picked up on iTunes.
