Stormzy has unveiled the new single and video 'Big For Your Boots', taken from his upcoming debut album. Check out the video below.
After a series of mysterious billboards sprung up around London to drum-up hype for the grime artist's comeback and debut full-length, Stormzy has delivered with the first single to be taken from the record.
Speaking of the release, Stormzy says: “This is the moment that I have been waiting for my whole life. I am now ready to certify my position as a credible artist and someone who is here for the long run.”
The tracklisting for Gang Signs & Prayer was revealed via Twitter this week, and features track titles 'First Things First', 'Bad Boys' 'Don't Cry For Me' and 'Lay Me Bare'. The record includes collaborations with MNEK and Raleigh Ritchie, with Fraser T. Smith at the helm of production.
Last April saw the release of the track ‘Scary’, with Stormzy claiming it was the first single from the album, but the track hasn’t made the final cut.
Elsewhere, Stormzy is up for the British Breakthrough Act award at this month's Brits. Following last year's ceremony he took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the lack of diversity within the nominations, saying "None of my G’s nominated for Brits? are you taking the piss?, embarrassing."
Gang Signs & Prayer is due for release on February 24.
