Paul Weller has been in the studio under the monkier Sine Of 4, and has taken-on remixing duties on Syd Arthur track 'No Peace' alongside Noel Gallagher. Check out the remix stream below.

The Jam frontman has stepped out of his comfort zone to create some pretty out-there, psycadelic sounds, which are penetrated with bursts of Noel Gallagher's signiture axe playing style.

The project marks the first time Weller has ever worked on a remix or reworking of a track, and sees him move into a new, electrically-charged territory. The remix is described as a "tour-de- force of imagination, off-beat and dreamy".

Canterbury-based band Syd Arthur released the original version of 'No Peace' as part of their latest record 'Apricity', which was released last year. The band of brothers also took to the road with Jake Bugg and White Demin.

In other extra-curricular activity, Weller recently made a cameo appearance in hit BBC drama Sherlock. The Modfather turned Viking in the final scene of the finale, which was quickly spotted by keen-eyed viewers.

Paul Weller released the Saturns Pattern album in 2015, and is set to embark on a UK tour, which kicks-off in March. Check here for ticket details.
