James Corden took on Adam Lambert to prove himself as a capable Queen frontman in a skit for an episode of The Late Late Show last night. Watch the full clip below.

"Who is it? Adam Lambert - that's it!" Corden joked after proclaiming his love for the classic rock band to his US chat show audience. After claiming he'd make a better frontman, Adam Lambert emerged from back stage to take part in a sing off battle with Corden.

Following band members Brian May and Roger Taylor being revealed to the unsuspecting audience, Corden and Lambert went on the perform parts of some of Queen's biggest hits, including 'Don't Stop Me Now', 'We Will Rock You', and 'Another One Bites The Dust'.

Think Corden is worthy of fronting one of the most legendary rock band's in music history? Well, we'll let you be the judge of that...

Meanwhile, Queen + Adam Lambert have recently announced a massive 25-date arena tour of North America, which kicks off in June.

The band played a huge show at Isle of Wight festival last year. Here's what Gigwise had to say.

In November, Queen released a special collection of rare radio sessions with the live album On Air.
