Coldplay's Chris Martin has revealed that he wish he'd written The Verve's famous hit 'Bitter Sweet Symphony'.
The frontman revealed to Q magazine that he's envious of The Verve's 1997 track 'Bitter Sweet Symphony'.
When asked 'What song of the past 25 years do you wish you'd written yourself?', Martin answered: 'Bitter Sweet Symphony' no contest. I was in a bar and it was on the TV and I was like, ''What the f*ck is that?''
He added: ''It just blew my head off. 'Where The Streets Have No Name' is the other one.''
Meanwhile, Coldplay have admitted that they're 'jealous' of acts like Adele, Lady Gaga and Jay-Z.
The band, who release their anticipated new album 'Mylo Xyloto on October 24, admitted that they are impressed by the standard of songs written by other artists'.
