Former N-Dubz rapper Dappy is serving his community service a the Hertfordshire branch of Oxfam.

Dappy, real name Costadinos Contostavlos, was given community service after he reportedly spat at two girls at a petrol station and called them "sluts" after they declined his offer to get into his car.

Oxfam has revealed they are pleased with the situation, tweeting: "(We're) very happy to have anyone volunteering with us, including Dappy."

A source told The Sun that the diminutive rapper was managing to crack on with the 'punishment'. "A few people have been shocked to see Dappy in the shop. He's been getting on with it thought and helping Oxfam out as he serves his time."

The news possibly explains why Dappy's 'Meeting of the Minds' tour alongside grime artist Wiley was cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances" last Friday.
