Calvin Harris and Tiesto are hoping to team up to record new music after their current tour together, Tiesto has revealed.
The dance superstars kicked off their UK tour in Belfast this week, and tonight perform at Dublin's O2 Arena, before dates in London, Manchester and Glasgow. The duo are set to make the most of their downtime on tour as well, with Tiesto revealing hopes for the two to team up for new music.
"We have Danny Avila as well. He's a young DJ from Spain, very upcoming. We are like a group of travelling gypsies," says Tiesto in an interview with The Daily star. "Hopefully me and Calvin will get some time this weekend on the plane or at the hotel to do some new music together too."
He also reveals how he gave tips to the Scottish superstar, one of the biggest earning musicians in the UK, during his early days when the pair first worked together.
"We started our relationship in 2008 when I remixed his song 'You're Not Alone' and we did a collaboration on my album called 'Century'," Tiesto added. "I gave him some tips but he's taught himself pretty well. Now we both have our Hakkasan residences in Las Vegas together. That's when we decided to tour together in the UK."
