The Clash, Diplo and Frank Ocean have combined forces to work on a new track entitled 'Hero'.
The slightly unusual collaboration is the latest in Converse's Three Artists One Song series that in the past has seen other unlikely artists working together in the studio. In the past Gorillaz, André 3000, and James Murphy worked on 'DoYaThing' as well as Julian Casablancas, Santigold, and Pharrell coming together for 'My Drive Thru'.
This chapter will feature members of The Clash Mick Jones and Paul Simonon working with Frank Ocean and Diplo for new track 'Hero'. It is the first time since Jones and Simonon have worked together since touring with Gorrillaz in 2010.

"The Clash were always teachers to me, even before I shared a studio with Paul and Mick," Diplo commented. "Their musical anarchy and constant attitude to disregard rules and forge their own path was inspirational to me. They meant death to genres, music and message above everything."
"Frank lives by the same creed in being married to his vision and seeing it through at any cost. We had to challenge each other to make something that we hope no one could expect and Converse valued everyone’s artistic freedom to let us shine throughout the past few months to make this thing happen."
