Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has praised One Direction in an upcoming interview for Radio One, which is set to be broadcast on Monday, 28 April 2014.
The star has joined the Radio One DJ for a new exclusive chat ahead of his band's new album, Ghost Stories, and has followed the likes of Kanye West and Eminem to join Lowe in his studio for an open and intimate chat. We doubt Martin will hit the headline-highs of West's interview however, despite promises made in the trailer for the show.
Martin also praises boyband One Direction in the interview, saying: "I'm saying One Direction are brilliant and i'm not kidding," and hints at problems in his personal life having recently 'uncoupled' from wife Gwyneth Paltrow, adding: "Everyone in their live goes through their challenges - whether it's love or money or kids or illness."
