Ryan Adams' new single, 'Gimme Something Good', has made its way online. Listen to it below.
The song, which is his first new music since 2011 album Ashes & Fire, is set for official release on 1 July, and will also be available as a 7-inch single.
It features a distinctive, gritty guitar riff before bursting into an anthemic chorus - a definite departure from Ashes & Fire.

The track was produced by Glyn Jones, who is responsible for music from Led Zeppelin to The Who, and includes B-side 'Aching For More' and vinyl-exclusive 'I Just Might.'
'Gimme Something Good' is taken from Adams' forthcoming 14th album, which is yet to be named.
