It appears Nicki Minaj may not be a fan of Iggy Azalea. At last night's BET Awards, Minaj appeared to mock Azalea during her performance before making a thinly-veiled jibe at artists who don't write their own raps.
As Azalea took to the stage to perform her hit 'Fancy', Nicki was caught on camera blowing kisses and throwing some OTT dance moves. Later on, during her acceptance speech for the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist award (which Azalea was also nominated for), the rapper said, "When Nicki Minaj spits, Nicki Minaj wrote it...and no, no, no, no, no, no shade, um" before adding: "I hope and pray that BET continues to honour authenticity."

Indeed, Minaj's actions may have simply been a coincidence and not directed at Azalea, but the 'Pills N Potions' star has previously taken issue with the Australian rapper. After Forbes posted a fairly problematic article on Azalea declaring "Hip-Hop Is Run By A White, Blonde, Australian Woman", Minaj dismissed it in a radio interview, saying, "We rely on hip hop blogs and journalism for THAT kind of information."
Whatever really happened, it's clear if Minaj was talking about Azalea, she may have a point. Azalea had help from six other songwriters with the lyrics for 'Fancy' - Charli XCX, songwriting and production trio The Invisible Men, Jon Turner and Kurtis McKenzie.
