In a true collision of musical legends, Prince joined Nile Rodgers on stage this weekend to perform an explosive cover of 'Let's Dance' by David Bowie. Check it out below.
Prince was headlining Essence Festival in the US this weekend, where he delighted fans with an insane 24-song set.
"You know how many hits I got?”, he asked the crowd during his performance - but it seems he had one more up his sleeve, returning during Chic and Nile Rodgers' set to run through a rowdy rendition of the Rodgers' co-produced Bowie classic 'Let's Dance'.
Chic and Rodgers stayed on vocals, while His Royal Badness, The Purple One, simply shredded on guitar and prowled the stage with his velvet cool. It looks pretty awesome.

Rodgers then took to Twitter to celebrate the moment (over and over again):
How Proud Am I at This Moment? Playing "Let's Dance" w Prince is so symbolic. That album w Bowie changed my life... http://t.co/iSrKt9PgRh
