Lily Allen has spoken out after being left 'exhausted' from abuse via Twitter, following the news that she'd be replacing Two Door Cinema Club as the headliner of this weekend's Latitude Festival.

Two Door Cinema Club had to pull out of their slot due to singer Alex Tremble being taken ill. The band have also pulled out of their Bournemouth headline show and released the following statement:

"It is with a heavy heart that we are going to need to cancel our upcoming shows at Latitude and Bournemouth Academy. Alex collapsed at Seattle airport on the way to London and has been hospitalised with a chronic stomach complaint. We are devastated to have to cancel shows that we were so looking forward to. We can only apologise and hope for your understanding at this time.

Love TDCC x"

Here's the best, worst and down right ugly reactions to the announcement.

The good:

Meanwhile, Latitude will also see performances from The Black Keys, Damon Albarn, Lykke Li, Mogwai and many more. For more information visit Gigwise Tickets
